Thank you for your desire to create an Invincible America!
Who is eligible? This assistance is available to US residents only. A similar form of financial assistance is also available to residents of Canada through the Global Country of World Peace in Canada.
Other foreign nationals may be eligible to receive support through Maharishi University of Management’s International Sponsorship Program to cover the expense of private room and meals on campus; please read the section on this website entitled Information About Financial Support for Internationals: Invitation from Raja John Hagelin
You are eligible for support, if:
Who is not eligible? Those not eligible for financial assistance: (i) students enrolled at Maharishi University of Management or Maharishi School of the Age of Enlightenment, (ii) members of the faculty, administration, or staff at Maharishi University of Management or Maharishi School of the Age of Enlightenment, or (iii) dependents of faculty, administration or staff members of these educational institutions, or (iv) pregnant ladies.
You are not eligible if you are living in the Fairfield-Maharishi Vedic City community and are a full-time employee of, or receive room and board from MUM, MSAE, the Global Country of World Peace (GCWP), Maharishi Foundation, or any other organization that is part of Maharishi’s worldwide Movement.
There are two exceptions to these policies. Full-time students on vacation in December and in the summer are eligible for financial support for a minimum of 15 days during the time they are not enrolled in school. Full-time Governors in the United States or Canada working outside the Fairfield Community may come for a minimum of one-half month per year on the Governor Invincibility Program.
Are there attendance requirements? Funds for assistance are available to those able to participate for a minimum of 80% of the sessions each month. The more sessions you attend, the higher your financial support will be. For each session you attend you will receive $8.75; the morning rounding program is considered to be two sessions, the afternoon program is considered as one session. Therefore you will receive $26.25 for participating in all three sessions, i.e. for the whole day. To record attendance, participants will be issued a special swipe card that they'll use at the beginning and end of each program Please note: there is a $10.00 charge for this swipe card. Details for obtaining a swipe card will be available in the acceptance e-mail you will receive from the Grants Office or the Invincible America Department.
In terms of the routine, the goal for each participant is to fly up to 1-1/2 hours per round, with an expected minimum of one-half hour, three times per day. Time may be increased gradually as recommended by the TM-Sidhi Administrators.
How long a commitment do I have to make? A minimum of one month is required to receive financial support.
How do I apply? Fill out the Financial Support Request Form below. You will receive an auto-response letter shortly after applying. Your acceptance will come by email 7-10 days later. Please note that International applicants should allow three weeks for processing. For all Internationals, except Canadians, supporting documents for obtaining your visitor visa will be sent to you via e-mail once your application is completed and accepted.
What does this financial assistance cover? The financial support is expected to cover housing and meals plus a few incidentals. Please see the FAQ page for more details.
How is the money paid? Those of you from the United States will receive a grant at the beginning of each month. The amount of this grant will be based on your attendance for the previous month. So your first grant will be available at the beginning of the month following your start date. The exact date and location for the grant distribution will be announced in the flying halls at the beginning of each month.
